The Dogtra 2500T&B is a compact combination remote beeper collar and remote trainer designed expressly for the upland hunter. But since the entire e-collar system is fully waterproof, it is equally suitable for the waterfowl hunter who needs to keep track of his dog in flooded timber or tidal marshes.
The e-collar has a one-mile range, and 127 levels of nick and continuous stimulation. The rheostat dial allows for gradual adjustment of stimulation, while the LCD window displays the intensity level, along with a three bar battery life indicator. The transmitter and collar receiver are rechargeable and use quick-charging lithium-polymer batteries which take only two hours to charge. The beeper speaker is built into the receiver, resulting in a more streamlined unit than other remote beepers or combination beeper/trainer e-collars.
